Police Department

The Avoca Police Department proudly serves the residents and visitors of the village year around.  The department consists of one full time officer and one part time administrative professional.  We work very closely with the Iowa County Sheriff's Department and other area law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety and well being of the residents to the best of our ability.

In any emergency, always dial 911.  Your call will be answered by a professional dispatcher at the Iowa County Sheriff's Department.  The dispatcher will then contact the Avoca Police Officer if it is during duty time, or will send an Iowa County Deputy to assist you if it is after coverage hours.

Avoca is a great community to be a part of and serve.  We truly appreciate the support and assistance we receive.

Thank you for visiting our site.
